The Ravenswood Neighbors Association is excited to announce of first-ever Neighborhood Block Party! Join us Saturday, August 29 from 2pm-9pm in the 4700 block of N. Winchester for live music, bounce houses, water play, yard games, food and drink, and lots more! Stay tuned for more details.
While some blocks in our neighborhood host annual block parties, many do not, so we are grateful to partner with the neighbors in the 4700 block of Winchester to open their block party to the entire community. RSVP NOT REQUIRED, but it’s helpful so we can know how many people to expect, communicate any changes (for example, weather-related delays), and learn if there’s anything you’re able to contribute to the party.
Platform 47 will be selling sliders and wings, and we encourage neighbors to bring a side dish or dessert to share! We’ll have some other snacks and drinks on hand to share.
SCHEDULE
- 3PM – Bike Parade: We’ll have streamers, ribbons, and more supplies for kids to decorate their bikes, and at 3pm we will have a bike parade down the street.
- 3:30PM-5:30PM – Free face painting!
- 4PM-4:30PM – Live Music: 4700 block of Winchester neighbor Phil and his band will perform
- 5PM-7PM – Live Music: Jyn & Juice
- 7PM-9PM – Karaoke
