Bring leaves, get drinks, feed gardens!
This fall, drop off bagged leaves in our drop zone at Ravenswood & Sunnyside, then join us at Begyle Brewing for a Mulch Madness Happy Hour on November 16, 2024. Leaf donors and RNA Members get a beverage on us, can learn about leaf mulch with an ISA Certified Arborist from Kramer Tree Specialists, and win cool prizes! Stay tuned for event details.
Donating your fallen leaves helps Ravenswood native gardens! Your leaves are ground down into leaf mulch and applied in autumn as nutritious, water-conserving, insect-hosting mulch in our neighborhood street corner and parkway native gardens. Over 450 donated bags of leaves have been turned into leaf mulch since the inaugural Mulch Madness event in 2022.
